New location

I’ve currently relocated up to the family ranch near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I flew into Colorado on Thursday of last week and spent a few days with my sister down in Fort Collins before I headed up the mountain. In any case, now that I’m settled in I’ll be getting back into the blog-o-sphere and should have some more juicy tidbits for folks in the near future.

I’d like to thank everyone for their support while I worked through the difficulties of the past couple of months. It was a crazy ride, but things look to be smooth sailing from this point forward, and I’ve got plenty of worked line up, a couple of new clients that I’m working with, and amazingly good weather up here in the high country of Colorado.

I’ll see about taking some pictures and getting them uploaded for people soon. This is a great place to spend the summer, and I am looking forward to getting a lot of good writing done with such a beautiful area to keep my inspiration soaring.

Here’s to creative writing on all fronts :)

  1. Good to hear from you again. Sorry it didn’t work out with Evy.

  2. At the very least I’m in a beautiful place (way up in the Rockies) and have good weather to spend a few months recovering and working on moving forward. Have some new clients, new projects from old clients, and plenty of work, so at the very least I’m staying busy now that I’m back. And I’ll likely be moving back down to the Front Range in October once I figure out where I want to go after the summer.

In the meantime it’s great weather, beautiful surroundings, and recovery time. And it’s weird getting used to people speaking English, not to mention I haven’t seen a pickup truck in 2.5 years!

  3. Dear TW:

Welcome back to the United States! It’s good to have you home again!

I wish you much joy in establishing a new life for yourself. You and your blog have been very helpful to many writers.

    Cordially,
    Robin

  4. Thanks, Robin!

It’s been good weather for it so far, other than last night, because it actually snowed a bit up here in the high country and the grass was frozen when I woke up at the cabin to come over to the office. Up at 8,500 feet, so it’s fairly high. I’m still adjusting to the altitude…my 1 hour workouts got cut down to 30-35 minutes last week because my lungs were freaking out. Going to take me a few weeks to acclimate.

I look forward to getting back on track and keeping the inspiration going for other people :) Right now I’m happy to say that I’m busy with work from old clients, working on a couple of samples for new clients, and have a lot of feelers out in the water, so I’m as busy as I want to be. So far, so good :)

    Thanks for the note!
